Movie we watched on Valentine’s Day. Finally, because I had known about and wanted to see this film for quite a while since I saw the trailer in the movie theater back when I could go to the theater, before the pandemic. It’s about a Pakistani immigrant to England and all the discrimination that exists there toward his people, but also about how he develops a hero worship of Bruce Springsteen and his songs, something to which I have no problem relating. It inspired tears as well as warming my heart on a cold evening in the year of the big snow.
