I see a retired teacher walking Olympic competition pace along the road heading due east into the dawn, probably singing, and I smile, wondering if that’s better than riding off into the sunset to the west. But no regrets, I am certain, because this man I know, who was in no hurry to step down and move on, now, by all appearances, is happy and free and enjoying each day from the rooster call. It is good to see him staying fired up and ever on the move. His trademark expression: Physics is life.
