The first Pfizer dose is in my arm and coursing through my body right now! This feels like a relief…a good thing. Latest test results show that even with one dose it provides a lot of protection. And of the people who have been studied over a fair amount of time after the injections zero have gone in the hospital, none have died or even gotten seriously ill. Hooray for science!

I will continue following safety protocols masks and distancing, but this takes some of anxiety out of the equation. It’s just an additional heavy means of protection for which I feel glad. I am just eager to get one for Isabel, who being 5 years younger, has not been on the list, but she has some higher risk health conditions that cause me concern about COVID for her.
