It’s Super Bowl week and two teams that I’m not really excited about or really able to root for, the Los Angeles Rams versus the Cincinnati Bengals. I guess I will pull for Cincinnati since they were in the same division as the Steelers, who had a disappointing year. And the Steelers now have to look for a quarterback given that Ben Roethlisberger has retired. Those may be some gargantuan shoes to fill, so it will be a year of transition, hopefully not too painful. I will watch the Super Bowl just because it’s kind of the national thing to do.  However at some point during the year I will forget who was even in the game let alone what happened in it. That always happens even when I am excited about the teams and have a horse in the race.

Meanwhile on another front, every day I wake up hoping that today is the day there will be an indictment or more than one indictment of any of the criminals and enablers associated with the corrupt Trump administration… because all of them walking free is a travesty. Waiting impatiently for Lady Justice to catch up with them, and not at all understanding why it’s taking so damn long. Some people say that the Department of Justice is ‘afraid’ to come down on Trump because they think it will spark a civil war of sorts. I think that for the sake of accountability and the future of our country it needs to be done. Like last week.
